Fresh out of the oven we already you have available the distribution of Android updates for the month of September, with data collected for devices that have been connected to Google Play during the last seven days.
This month we see that Lollipop is already in 21% of Android devices, or what is the same, that one of every five devices are updated to one of the two latest versions. In particular, 5.0 Android Lollipop is already in the 15.9% (formerly 15.5%), making it in the second most used Android version. On the other hand, * Android 5.1 Lollipop is 5.1% * (formerly 2.6%), being the version that grows more, twice last month regarding.
Other versions of Android are still losing market share. Android 4.4 KitKat is now 39.2% (formerly 39.3%), Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich in 3.7% (before 4.1%), Android 2.2 Froyo in 0.2% (0.3% previously), Android 2.3 Gingerbread on the 4.1 (before 4.6%) and 4.1-4.3 Android Jelly in 31.8% (formerly 33.6%).
