London is a great shopping destination as a plus size woman. The British designers has a fine sense of female body, and is also not plagued by fine sensations, as sometimes you can get an idea of that the Danish designers. In England it is more the rule than the exception, to the various brands goes up to a size of 50 or 52.

The original classic in plus size clothing. Although we here at Curves Ahead well seems that Swedish H & M could up it a little, you can still find good basic goods.

British brand that exclusively designer plus size clothing. Often make exciting collaborations with established designers, such as Clements Ribeiro, and celebrities.

Trend-based brand with a plus size line. Strong on patterns and good for you, that is on the hunt for budget friendly finds.

The latest trends up to size 50 – it gets you here. Not a plus size-brand, but good for the slightly younger plus size-women.

Budget friendly brand that always appears on the latest trends. Has multiple lines, and some of them go up to plus sizes. Please note that their Web Store always has much more, than there is in the shops.

One of the Curves Aheads absolute favorite brands! The store is not in itself London, also in England is the booth a Web store-brand, but it can be a trip worth – and have you never bought clothes with them before, it’s a good way to learn the sizes to know.

London W5 3EL
A classic British brand, which produces many of their items up to size 50. Rarely hypertrendy, but has its own distinct DNA with inspiration from ethnic patterns and silhouettes. More often than not, good quality, that is worth the money.

498-500 Oxford Street
The Italian designer brand from Max Mara-House. Solid materials, perfect fit and often with well-chosen details from the season’s trends. Classic style, often to women who are 30 +.
Best buy: t-shirts, dresses and outerwear
39 Old Bond Street
One of the very few multibrand stores with a focus on plus size. Here you will find a personal selection of Marina Rinaldi, Elena Miro (the only plus size-brand that has had the show during Milan fashion week, Anna Scholz, Not Your daughter’s Jeans, Spanx and many other brands.
33 Southampton Row and 44 New Cavendish Street
Marks & Spencer
Or M & S as it is called in the vernacular. The British love their Marks & Spencer, and the Department store has been an institution in the country. They have plenty of design collaborations with celebrities – for example, Twiggy and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley. Set a whole afternoon of, dump the boyfriend at a cafe and go crazy on the many square meters.

Most major British designers have or have at some point had a line at Debenhams – Julien Macdonald, John Rocha, Matthew Williamson, Preen, Ben de Lisi, Stephen Jones. Not all lines are going up in plus sizes, but there are lots of good finds. Set good time!

A good selection of more mature plus size-brands such as Marina Rinaldi, Chesca and Taking Shape, but also Danish Juna rose hangs on hoops. They also have a good selection of shoes with extra width.
