Iowa County is a county located in the state of Iowa. As of 2000, the population is 15,671. Its county seat is Marengo, Iowa.
Geography
According to the U.S. Census Bureau, the county has a total area of 1,521 km² (587 mi²). 1,519 km² (586 mi²) of it is land and 2 km² (1 mi²) of it is water. The total area is 0.15% water.
