Miami County (standard abbreviation: MI) is a county located in the state of Kansas. As of 2000, the population is 28,351. Its county seat is Paola, Kansas.
Geography
According to the U.S. Census Bureau, the county has a total area of 1,528 km² (590 mi²). 1,494 km² (577 mi²) of it is land and 35 km² (13 mi²) of it is water. The total area is 2.28% water.
