Lollipop Continues to Grow Little by Little, Now at 12.4% of Devices Android

This month of June we have just begun today have not had to wait no more day to meet us new data from the distribution of updates on Android. With greater punctuality Google has already released the new graphics with the data collected from devices that have been connected to Google Play these last seven days.

For the month of June we find the same scenario as last may, only two versions of Lollipop gain penetration in the market, other versions are gradually receding 5.0 and 5.1 Android grow little by little.

In particular 5.0 Android Lollipop passes from 9.0% to the current 11,6% y 5.1 Android Lollipop 0.7% to the 0,8%. Altogether Lollipop has gone from 9.7% to 12.4%, nearly 3 points in just a month. Little by little the latest versions of Android are gaining market thanks to updates and above all share for new devices that have serial Lollipop.

Fortunately previous versions continue losing penetration. Android 4.4 KitKat happens to have 39.2% (formerly 39.8%), Android 4.3 Jelly Bean 5.2% (formerly 5.5%), Android 4.2 Jelly Bean 17.5% (formerly 18.1%), Android 4.1 Jelly Bean 14.7% (formerly 15.6%), Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich 5.1% (before 5.3%), Android 2.3 Gingerbread 5.6% (before 5.7%) and Android 2.2 Froyo is maintained with 0.3%.
