Crow Wing County is a county located in the state of Minnesota. As of 2000, the population is 55,099. Its county seat is Brainerd.
Geography
According to the U.S. Census Bureau, the county has a total area of 2,995 km² (1,157 mi²). 2,581 km² (997 mi²) of it is land and 414 km² (160 mi²) of it is water. The total area is 13.83% water.

As of the census of 2000, there are 55,099 people, 22,250 households, and 15,174 families residing in the county. The population density is 21/km² (55/mi²). The racial makeup of the county is 97.64% White, 0.31% Black or African American, 0.78% Native American, 0.28% Asian, 0.01% Pacific Islander, 0.20% from other races, and 0.78% from two or more races. 0.69% of the population are Hispanic or Latino of any race.
