Murray County is a county located in the state of Minnesota. As of 2000, the population is 9,165. Its county seat is Slayton.
Geography
According to the U.S. Census Bureau, the county has a total area of 1,864 km² (720 mi²). 1,824 km² (704 mi²) of it is land and 39 km² (15 mi²) of it is water. The total area is 2.10% water.

As of the census of 2000, there are 9,165 people, 3,722 households, and 2,601 families residing in the county. The population density is 5/km² (13/mi²).
