Yellow Medicine County is a county located in the state of Minnesota. As of 2000, the population is 11,080. Its county seat is Granite Falls. The Upper Sioux Indian Reservation is entirely within the county.
Geography
According to the U.S. Census Bureau, the county has a total area of 1,977 km² (763 mi²). 1,963 km² (758 mi²) of it is land and 14 km² (5 mi²) of it is water. The total area is 0.71% water.
