Wilkinson County is a county located in the state of Mississippi. As of 2000, the population is 10,312. Its county seat is Woodville.

Geography

According to the U.S. Census Bureau, the county has a total area of 1,781 km² (688 mi²). 1,753 km² (677 mi²) of it is land and 28 km² (11 mi²) of it is water. The total area is 1.59% water.

Demographics

As of the census of 2000, there are 10,312 people, 3,578 households, and 2,511 families residing in the county. The population density is 6/km² (15/mi²).
