Ste. Genevieve County is a county located in the state of Missouri. As of 2000, the population is 17,842. Its county seat is Ste. Genevieve.
According to the U.S. Census Bureau, the county has a total area of 1,318 km² (509 mi²). 1,301 km² (502 mi²) of it is land and 17 km² (7 mi²) of it is water. The total area is 1.29% water.
