Codington County is a county located in the state of South Dakota. As of 2000, the population is 25,897. Its county seat is Watertown.
Geography
According to the U.S. Census Bureau, the county has a total area of 1,857 km² (717 mi²). 1,781 km² (688 mi²) of it is land and 76 km² (29 mi²) of it is water. The total area is 4.10% water.
