Davison County is a county located in the state of South Dakota. As of 2000, the population is 18,741. Its county seat is Mitchell.

Geography

According to the U.S. Census Bureau, the county has a total area of 1,131 km² (437 mi²). 1,128 km² (435 mi²) of it is land and 3 km² (1 mi²) of it is water. The total area is 0.31% water.
