Deuel County is a county located in the state of South Dakota. As of 2000, the population is 4,498. Its county seat is Clear Lake.

Geography

According to the U.S. Census Bureau, the county has a total area of 1,649 km² (637 mi²). 1,615 km² (624 mi²) of it is land and 34 km² (13 mi²) of it is water. The total area is 2.07% water.
