Douglas County is a county located in the state of South Dakota. As of 2000, the population is 3,458. Its county seat is Armour.
According to the U.S. Census Bureau, the county has a total area of 1,124 km² (434 mi²). 1,123 km² (434 mi²) of it is land and 2 km² (1 mi²) of it is water. The total area is 0.14% water.
The county is divided into fourteen townships: Belmont, Chester, Clark, East Choleau, Garfield, Grandview, Holland, Independence, Iowa, Joubert, Lincoln, Valley, Walnut Grove, Washington.
