Hand County is a county located in the state of South Dakota. As of 2000, the population is 3,741. Its county seat is Miller.

Geography

According to the U.S. Census Bureau, the county has a total area of 3,730 km² (1,440 mi²). 3,721 km² (1,437 mi²) of it is land and 9 km² (4 mi²) of it is water. The total area is 0.25% water.
