Harding County is a county located in the state of South Dakota. As of 2000, the population is 1,353. Its county seat is Buffalo.

Geography

According to the U.S. Census Bureau, the county has a total area of 6,935 km² (2,678 mi²). 6,917 km² (2,670 mi²) of it is land and 18 km² (7 mi²) of it is water. The total area is 0.26% water.
