Turner County is a county located in the state of South Dakota. As of 2000, the population is 8,849. Its county seat is Parker.

Geography

According to the U.S. Census Bureau, the county has a total area of 1,599 km² (617 mi²). 1,598 km² (617 mi²) of it is land and 2 km² (1 mi²) of it is water. The total area is 0.10% water.
