Glasscock County is a county located in the state of Texas. As of 2000, the population is 1,406. Its county seat is Garden City. Glasscock is named for George Washington Glasscock, an early settler of the Austin, Texas area. According to the results of the 2000 US Presidential election, it is the most Republican county in the country, with 93.1% of voters voting for the GOP. [1]
