The Chinese manufacturer just of officially present its M2A Xiaomi, a terminal whose appearance had been rumored for months and that it is a version for its successful Xiaomi Phone 2 (Mi2).
This smartphone will cost 1,499 yuan in China (185 euros) and will replace Xiaomi M1S that already began to be somewhat obsolete. The new device intended to cover the middle range of the manufacturer has a 4.5-inch IPS display, resolution 1280 x 720 pixels and 326 pixels per inch of density, but there are still more.
The design of this smartphone is very similar to the of its current flagship, the Mi2, but its dimensions are somewhat higher given that the display has a diagonal 0.2 inches greater. At the rear we also have an important difference, since 8 Mpixel camera frame is not round and square, and in addition the LED flash has moved below the sensor. The mobile will have several shells of different colors and, of course with MIUI v5, the new version of the custom ROM from this manufacturer.
Inside we have a Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro, a dual – core processor at 1.7 GHz, with 1 GB of RAM and 16 GB of ROM. This new processor makes the terminal 20% more efficient according to makers of Xiaomi, without compromising performance that, according to official press releases, to rub the 19,000 points at AnTuTu.
Front and back cameras are equipped with sensors with Aperture f/2.2, allowing you to capture more light, something that theoretically will result in higher quality images in low light conditions. The inclusion of NFC and Dirac HD technology (for wireless streaming of audio to compatible devices) are other noteworthy of this terminal developments.
